Gin, maraschino and a whisper of violette — floral, tart and faintly sky-blue.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 1/4 oz creme de violette
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

Method

  1. 1Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled.
  2. 2Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

PRO TIP

Go easy on the violette — a few millilitres too many turns it to soap.
