Dark Jamaican rum, lime and cane sugar — the original rum punch, simple and strong.

Ingredients

  • ◆1 1/2 oz dark rum
  • ◆1/2 oz lime juice
  • ◆1 oz demerara syrup

Method

  1. 1Build all ingredients in a tumbler.
  2. 2Add crushed ice and stir; adjust dilution with a little water to taste.

PRO TIP

Use a funky Jamaican rum — it carries the whole drink.
